Don't Die Alone

I said to the reaper “Death is too final What means have you left To cure this denial?” The grim visage smiled back And he said “Once it’s over, that is that” Don’t you know that it all goes black? I want to live forever but it might be wack And besides I’ll miss you when you’re gone The reaper said back “I think it’s I kind of funny Your lives are so short But you just chase after money It’s just another drug What you really need is love” Don’t you know that it all goes black? I want to live forever but it might be wack And besides I’ll miss you when you’re gone Don’t you know that you can’t come back But if you can’t calm down you’ll have a heart attack Anyway And I’ll have nothing left to say Don’t you know that it all goes black? I want to live forever but it might be wack And besides I’ll miss you when you’re gone

Lighthouse 03:59
You remind me of a Tiny lighthouse by the sea Or a beachside, low tide coral reef You’re a salty summer ocean breeze I wish you saw the same in me I met you at the pier I’d never felt so near to anyone before Bored walking round the boardwalk I was talking to ya But you wouldn’t talk to me And you made me think of a Tiny lighthouse by the sea Or a beachside, low tide coral reef You’re a salty summer ocean breeze I wish you saw the same in me Tiny lighthouse by the sea Or a beachside, low tide coral reef You’re a salty summer ocean breeze I wish you saw the same in me Should I be having fun? I heard that’s what it’s like to be in love I think I should get some sun You make me feel cold So you’re probably not the one So why do you remind me of a Tiny lighthouse by the sea Or a beachside, low tide coral reef You’re a salty summer ocean breeze I wish you saw the same in me Tiny lighthouse by the sea Or a beachside, low tide coral reef You’re a salty summer ocean breeze I wish you saw the same in me But I hope you know I tried And I hope that you still smile sometimes You live inside the fragile walls of my mind It makes me feel like you’re still in my life You’re a tiny lighthouse by the dock That leads the ships straight to the rocks I wish I’d never heard your siren song Just packed my things and went along

Art Project 02:46
You’re my art project, my masterpiece A magnum opus I’d hidden up my sleeve But I stole my ideas from someone like me A fresh coat of paint to cover cracks in our seams Draw me a picture, show me your shapes Paint me a portrait, but leave out my face I’ll star in your movie, I’ll act in your play I’d sing you a song, but my voice might shake My portfolio Needs some variety Guess it goes to show You’re my style, baby My signature is messy But the message there is true Underneath that cursive It says “Honey, I love you” so Draw me a picture, show me your shapes Paint me a portrait, but leave out my face I’ll star in your movie, I’ll act in your play I’d sing you a song, but my voice might shake Sculpting our love, we made it our own Tender feelings, carved into stone So our love won’t fade and decay with our bones Even when they turn cold

Meet me in Portland And we’ll walk around the block We’ll drive down to the coast And see the seals out on the dock It’s always kinda rainy Out here by the sea But you can wear my jacket Cause if anyone’s getting wet It should be me Meet me in Portland And we’ll window shop at stores If I only had the money I’d buy all you want and more Let’s catch up over coffee As long as you are buying It just keeps coming down And we’ll talk about nothing While you are drying Meet me in Portland It’s nice this time of year Everything seems prettier With you near, my dear Won’t you stay the night? I think there’s room for two And even if there’s not I’ll just be closer to you

You’re the treasure in the ocean I have found I lose a part of myself When you’re not around I’d give you my love I’d give you my time Something about this feels so right And it kills me every time I say goodbye I know it’s hard sometimes Love is so hard to find Your eyes are a beautiful view Staring is all I can do It’s hard not to feel abused When you have to move on To somebody new If you know that it’s wrong I know it’s hard sometimes Love is so hard to find Your eyes are a beautiful view Staring is all I can do I know it’s hard sometimes Love is so hard to find Your eyes are a beautiful view Staring is all I can do There’s a couple things I need to tell you There’s a couple things you need to know There’s a couple things I should’ve said sooner I think I missed my shot, I was too slow There’s a few things I wanted to tell you About you making me smile when I feel blue Or how I hardly feel blue at all anymore I’m a different hue because of you
